E-design is perfect for:

  • Clients that prefer to implement a design plan on their own
  • Budget-minded clients that want to work on the plan in stages
  • Out-of-state clients

e-Design packages address all the essential elements required when decorating a room. You’ll receive:

  • A floor plan with furniture layout and dimensions as well as recommendations of specific products and finishes, based on your retail or custom preferences.
  • Color and/or wall paper selection for walls, ceiling, and trim as needed.
  • Flooring — carpet, area rug, tile, etc, as needed.
  • Accessories and artwork recommendations.
  • A detailed explanation of how to pull it all together.
  • A follow up 15 minute call to answer any questions you may have
    about the plan.

Q: how does this work?

A: It’s Easy. Fill out the e-design style questionnaire, send measurements, and photos along with the non-refundable design fee to get started.

Once I receive the completed questionnaire, photos, measurements and the fee, I will begin work on your design. I will work within your budget to complete your project. For some people this may mean only using retail and catalog vendors, for others I may offer custom or “to the trade” products and services which I can help you purchase after you receive the plan. On average, you should expect your plan to arrive 3 weeks after receiving all your information. If I anticipate any delay in the delivery of your project I will let you know as soon as possible

Q. Can I use this service for any room in my home?

A. Yes, but please understand this service is for rooms that need decorating only. For rooms that require built in cabinets, construction, changing the layout of plumbing or electrical fixtures, traditional interior design service will be necessary.

Q. What does “custom” and “to the trade” mean?

A. Custom products are made specifically to order just for you. This could consist of furniture pieces that allow you to select a specific fabric, style of arm, cushion, and wood finishes etc.

Though generally more expensive than purchasing the limited choices presented in catalogs and chain stores, you do get exactly what you want.

This is also true for custom window treatments, pillows, bedding etc. You choose the exact length, width, and style along with fabrics, lining and interlinings. Also, these custom treatments can be finished with dressmaker details like trim and welting, making them unique.

“To the trade” refers to products that can only be purchased through design professionals.

Q. What if my budget does not allow for custom products?

A. No problem. I will present you with all the details needed to purchase products from local stores near where you live or through online catalogs. There are many good quality and interesting products available from a variety of retailers that can be combined to give you a custom look. As a designer, the last thing I want you to end up with is a “cookie-cutter” space.

Q. What if I don’t like the plan?

A. I’m confident that this will not happen.

The questionnaire is designed to help me understand what you are looking for. Please provide as much information as you can. If I didn’t specifically address something you think I should know please include it. The more I know about you, your room and your concerns, the better.

Having happy client is my number one concern. I work diligently to create inspired designs that address your needs and enhance the style of your rooms. So far, no one has been disappointment with their plan. I anticipate continuing on this winning streak.

Just a reminder, the design fee is non-refundable.

Q. What do you need for measurements and photos?

A. I have outlined the steps required to obtain accurate measurements and tips for photographing on a separate form

Q. Will you include products I already own and want to keep in my plan?

A. Yes, if you have furniture, art or accessories that you want to continue to use, I will include them in your plan. In some instances I may offer an alternative selection that you may consider using in place of what you have.
